I recently got the opportunity to work on something a little bit different and whilst only quite a small project it was pretty cool at the same time.
Firstly I have to say a big thanks to Jamie Thomas for the referral - to the British Basketball League. Basketball is something that I am not familiar with in the slightest... I know a few names, but only the typical headline names that most people would know if they didn't follow the sport, but I was tasked with creating a few quick video stings for intro and outro clips for the league's social media.
Jamie carries out a lot of the interviews himself and clips them together and had seen the stings I have done for Connah's Quay Nomads and thought that they provided a great little bookend at the start and finish of each video so asked me to do something similar for the BBL.
Because I was able to get their logo in a hi-res vector, I was able to break the logo down into a few elements and have them come in at separate times and obviously it made sense for the ball to bounce in and out of the screen somewhat!
