I'm delighted to confirm that Cardiff Met University FC have partnered up with NCM Media to make use of the new Player Track Pro platform.
I originally launched Player Track Pro during the original lockdown for the Covid pandemic as a way of keeping track of players and their home fitness activities, however this didn't quite progress how I expected it to, so I instead merged it with an idea I've been using at Connah's Quay Nomads for the past 18 months or so to provide the same platform to a wider audience.
The system I provided for Connah's Quay Nomads allowed coaching staff to record attendance of academy players - saving the need for someone to take a paper-based register and also give a clear indication of each player's percentage attendance record.
Additionally, the platform allows the coaches to complete performance progress reports based on how well each player is doing, giving feedback on different aspects of their footballing ability both on the pitch and away from the pitch. The players receive a copy of this report and are then asked to complete their own opinions before they can see their coach's feedback, giving the ability to compare how they line up against what the coach thinks of their performance.
I'm delighted to say that Cardiff Met have been trialling the platform for the past week and are currently setup with over 10 age categories on the system and over 200 players, meaning that they will be able to remove the need for physical paperwork for all of them!
